Débora F. Levine, D.D.S, M.S.
Débora Levine was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. There she attended The Universidad Central de Venezuela where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. Immediately following her graduation she was in private practice in Venezuela for two years before coming to the United States. She then completed a six month preceptorship program in endodontics in 1995 at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She subsequently worked as a Research Assistant at the Bering Dental Clinic and UT-Houston during 1996. Dr. Levine was accepted into the endodontic program at Baylor in Dallas in 1997 and obtained her Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology in 2000 from Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Levine received grants from the American Association of Endodontists and the International Federation of Endodontists to fund her research on the effect of the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus on the reactive processes in periapical lesions. She has published several related articles in the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal.
Dr. Levine has worked with Dr. Michael Stern in the private practice of endodontics since completing her training at Baylor in 2000. She was honored to be selected by her peers in the H-Texas Houston’s Top Dentist Magazine list of the best endodontists in Houston and also in the Texas Monthly “Super Dentists” since 2009. Dr. Levine is married to Dr. Giancarlo Romero whom she met during her dental internship in the Venezuelan Amazons. They have two beautiful children, Francesca and Joshua. She loves music and has played piano for many years.
Dr. Levine is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, the Houston Association of Endodontists, the Greater Houston Hispanic Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Elie Ezzie, D.D.S.
Elie Ezzie grew up in Canton, Ohio, home of the Football Hall of Fame. He attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in Immediately following graduation, he completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
After the completion of the program and working as a general dentist for more than three years back in Ohio, Dr. Ezzie decided to pursue his true passion in dentistry, endodontics. Once again, he returned to Dallas and earned his Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry in 2005. He received a grant from the American Association of Endodontics to fund his research, which was published in the Journal of Endodontics. He worked in a private practice limited to endodontics in Arizona following graduation before deciding to return to Texas.
Dr. Ezzie is the proud father of two boys. He loves traveling with his family and his hobbies include tennis, skiing, cars, motor sports and music.
Dr. Ezzie is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists and the Houston Association of Endodontists. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society and the Texas Dental Association.
